Welcome to my blog. This is the first post — mostly a placeholder to make sure everything is wired up correctly.

What to expect

I plan to write about things I find interesting:

• AI and machine learning — projects, papers, ideas worth exploring
• Math — proofs, problems, and the occasional rabbit hole
• Geography and linguistics — language patterns, maps, and how the world is organized

Why a blog?

Writing is a good way to think clearly. If I can explain something well enough to put it in a post, I probably understand it. If I can't, writing it out helps me find the gaps.

Posts will vary in length and depth. Some will be long technical write-ups, others just a few paragraphs on something I found interesting.
